Diabetes Research

Diabetes research is active and viable for the general population. The American Diabetes Association (ADA) uses a peer review process to match contribution dollars with research across the U.S.

Diabetes research leads to the discovery of new drugs and new drug protocols. Some of the drugs are a replacement for insulin injections. We posted an article about a ‘new diabetes drug’. The FDA recently approved the ‘new diabetes drug’.

We researched a ‘type 2 diabetes cure’ and discovered there is no cure just yet. The only realism for you is to learn to live with your diabetes. And then, prevent or reverse type 2 diabetes. Prevention is the key.

Our goal is to make you more knowledgeable. Once you have knowledge about diabetes, you can make intelligent choices.

You can read about ‘causes of diabetes’ and learn how your body handles glucose in your bloodstream. Our goal is to make you more knowledgeable. Once you have knowledge about diabetes, you can make intelligent choices. Those choices will affect your lifestyle.

Another goal is to present the information for you in an easy to read format. We don’t use technical jargon, and we aim to make you understand diabetes. If you understand how your body works, then you can take excellent care of it.

Some of the other articles posted in this category of ‘research’ include:

We encourage you to bookmark this page. You will want to return and read more about type 2 diabetes. It has the potential to be a killer. Complications can occur when you do not monitor your blood sugar levels.

You can read about those complications from diabetes elsewhere on the web site under ‘symptoms’. We also have room on our web site for your story. How did you learn you are diabetic? Sharing your story helps other people.

If you have any questions, we are happy to answer them. Let us hear from you. We started with diabetes research and summarized this section of the web site. We hope you have gained valuable knowledge.
